Our piano program is built on the belief that every person can learn to play music with confidence, joy, and purpose. We create a warm, encouraging environment where students are reminded that growth is possible, progress is worth celebrating, and music is something they truly can do. Everything we teach flows from what we call Anointed Excellence — offering God our very best while growing in skill, confidence, and creativity.

Our teaching team includes myself, Madelyn Gore, and Breshae Hord. Together, we are passionate about meeting each student right where they are and helping them move forward step by step with patience, encouragement, and care.

A key part of our approach is music theory taught through the number system used by praise bands and worship teams around the world. This practical method helps students understand how music works in a real-life worship setting, so they can play with confidence, freedom, and understanding—not just from notes on a page, but from a deeper musical foundation.

We work with students of all ages and experience levels, from those sitting at the piano for the very first time to those who are ready to grow in more advanced skills. Lessons may include chords and harmony, playing by ear, worship accompaniment, improvisation, music theory through the number system, ear training, and expressive playing.

More than anything, our goal is to build confidence. We want every student to know they are capable, equipped, and able to learn. With steady encouragement, practical tools, and a focus on Anointed Excellence, we help students discover not only how to play piano, but how to believe in themselves as musicians.

Piano lessons are taught virtually, making quality instruction accessible without the need to travel. Students can learn from the comfort of their own home while receiving personalized instruction and feedback throughout each lesson.

  • Piano lessons are primarily offered virtually. For students who are local, in-person lessons may be available depending on current scheduling and availability.

  • We work with students of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to more advanced musicians. Lessons are personalized to meet each student where they are and help them take the next step in their musical journey.

  • Yes! We work with children as well as teens and adults. Lessons are adapted to the student's age, experience, learning style, and goals.

  • Students will need access to a piano or keyboard for lessons and practice. A full-size acoustic piano is not required to get started; an appropriate keyboard can work well for many beginning students.
